Meet the Founder
Jacqueline Stevens, MSW, LCSW, PhD (hon.)
After earning a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy with a minor in Business from Rosemont College, Jacqueline spent a decade thriving in corporate America at companies like MasterCard, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Deloitte. However, her own struggles with untreated trauma, depression and anxiety led her to confront the long-held stigmas and shame surrounding mental health. In her 30s, Jacqueline sought therapy for the first time. Through self-reflection and mindfulness, she made meaningful changes, which inspired her transition into a career in clinical social work.
Jacqueline pursued advanced clinical training, earning a Master’s in Mental Health and Clinical Social Work from Sacred Heart University. She then worked at various private practices in Fairfield County and Connecticut’s only nationally accredited addiction treatment center, where she trained under leading clinical mentors. This experience deepened her passion for trauma-informed care, addiction treatment, and group therapy. Jacqueline’s clinical approach is grounded in evidence-based, insight-oriented practices, and lived experiences with a strong emphasis on narrative therapy. She believes that individuals are the experts of their own lives, and that maladaptive behaviors—particularly those linked to trauma and substance use—are often coping mechanisms rather than problems in themselves. By addressing the underlying issues, the external symptoms will also be resolved.
Today, Jacqueline continues to help others navigate trauma, depression, anxiety, and life transitions with compassion, dignity, and authenticity. A recipient of the Sacred Heart University Social Justice Award in May 2022 and an honorary doctorate from Rosemont College, where she also served as one of their May 2022 commencement speakers, Jacqueline remains a passionate advocate for mental health awareness, equity, and healing-centered practices in every space she serves.

These experiences sparked a deeper desire to move beyond legal advocacy and support individuals through healing, self-discovery, and meaningful personal growth.
Building upon both her professional background and advanced clinical training, Jordanne entered outpatient mental health, where she has worked with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, and other complex emotional challenges. Jordanne values the therapeutic relationship as one built on trust, empathy, and collaboration. She strives to create an environment where clients feel safe exploring difficult emotions, identifying patterns that no longer serve them, and building healthier ways of coping. She believes therapy is not about “fixing” people, but about helping individuals reconnect with their strengths, discover new perspectives, and create lives that feel more aligned with who they are.

Get to Know Me
Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy traveling and experiencing new places, cultures, and perspectives. I believe stepping outside of our everyday routines can expand the way we see both the world and ourselves.
When I’m home, I love trying new recipes in the kitchen, listening to music, and having spontaneous dance parties with my beautiful daughter. Those simple moments remind me to slow down, laugh, and enjoy the present.
I also enjoy reading books that challenge my thinking and deepen my understanding of human behavior. And if I’m being completely honest, I also love the occasional spicy romance novel… okay, maybe more than occasionally. But hey… no judgment, right? We all deserve something that helps us relax and brings us a little joy.

Maridalia Hernandez, LMSW
Maridalia Hernandez is a licensed master social worker dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion, authenticity, and hope. As a clinician at MindFullyMe Wellness, Maridalia believes healing begins within a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to create meaningful change. Her approach is rooted in the belief that every individual possesses inherent strengths and resilience, even during life’s most difficult seasons.
After earning her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Hartford, Maridalia initially envisioned a career addressing inequities within the criminal justice system. However, her professional path soon led her into community mental health, where she discovered a deep passion for walking alongside individuals living with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Working as a case manager within supportive housing, she partnered with clients to identify their goals, strengthen their independence, and build lives rooted in stability and purpose.
Maridalia later served as a Parent Support Worker, providing education, advocacy, and guidance to first-time parents at risk for child abuse and neglect. During this chapter of her life, she also experienced significant personal loss, an experience that profoundly shaped both her perspective and her clinical approach. Navigating grief while continuing to support others deepened her understanding of resilience, life’s unexpected transitions, and the importance of compassionate, nonjudgmental care. These experiences inspired her to continue her education while raising her young family, ultimately earning her Master of Social Work degree in May 2023—a milestone representing years of perseverance, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to serving others.
Maridalia’s clinical approach is person-centered, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based care. She believes clients are the experts of their own lives, and that lasting healing occurs when individuals are given the space to explore their experiences without fear of judgment. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based interventions while tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs, values, and goals. Her work focuses on helping individuals better understand patterns, strengthen coping skills, regulate emotions, and cultivate healthier relationships with themselves and others.
Today, Maridalia works with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma-related concerns, relationship difficulties, stress, life transitions, emotional regulation challenges, and self-esteem concerns. She remains passionate about helping clients discover hope, build confidence, and move toward lives that feel authentic, balanced, and meaningful.

Outside of the therapy room, my greatest joy is spending time with my family. Whether we’re planning our next camping adventure, creating new family traditions, or simply enjoying the outdoors together, I value the memories we build along the way. I also enjoy unwinding with a good drama series and appreciate stories that remind us of the resilience of the human spirit.
Watching my children discover who they are and grow into their unique personalities continually reminds me of the importance of encouragement, unconditional support, and having a safe place to be yourself. Those same values guide the work I do with my clients every day. I believe healing happens one step at a time, and I am honored to walk alongside individuals as they discover their own strength, resilience, and capacity for growth.

Teah Looney, LMSW
Teah Looney is a Licensed Master Social Worker and psychotherapist dedicated to helping teens, young adults, and adults navigate life’s challenges with compassion, curiosity, authenticity, and hope. As a clinician at MindFullyMe Wellness, Teah believes meaningful healing begins within a therapeutic relationship where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and safe enough to explore the parts of their stories that may be difficult to name. She approaches each person with warmth and intentionality, recognizing that who we are is shaped by a unique combination of experiences, relationships, strengths, wounds, and hopes—and that none of us should be defined solely by the hardest chapters of our lives.
Teah earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where she also minored in Psychology and Leadership Studies. Her interest in understanding people beyond their immediate circumstances led her to pursue advanced clinical training at Boston College, where she earned her Master of Social Work. Throughout her education and clinical experiences, Teah developed a deep appreciation for the ways emotional, relational, spiritual, and environmental factors intersect to shape mental health and overall well-being. This perspective continues to influence the way she understands each client—not simply through symptoms or diagnoses, but as a whole person with a story, strengths, relationships, values, and capacity for growth.
At the heart of Teah’s clinical approach is the belief that people are not defined by what has happened to them or by the ways they have learned to cope with difficult experiences. She views therapy as an opportunity to slow down, understand what has shaped you, identify patterns that may no longer serve you, and begin making intentional choices about what comes next. Rather than positioning herself as the person with all the answers, Teah seeks to walk alongside her clients with curiosity and compassion, helping them discover their own voice, recognize existing strengths, develop healthier coping strategies, and gain a deeper understanding of themselves. Her work incorporates evidence-based approaches while remaining responsive to each client’s individual needs, values, experiences, and goals.
Teah’s Christian faith is an important part of who she is and has deeply influenced the way she understands healing, identity, relationships, suffering, and purpose. For clients who desire faith-based counseling, Teah welcomes the opportunity to thoughtfully incorporate Christian faith, prayer, and Scripture into the therapeutic process. She also believes strongly in meeting people exactly where they are. Clients of all faith traditions, spiritual backgrounds, and beliefs are welcomed and respected, and faith integration is always guided by the client’s preferences and therapeutic goals. Above all, Teah strives to create an environment where clients have the freedom to explore what matters most to them without judgment or expectation.
Today, Teah works with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, identity concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, life transitions, and other seasons of uncertainty or change. She strives to be a steady and encouraging presence—someone who can sit with clients in difficult places while also helping them recognize what may be possible beyond them. Through clinical training, genuine connection, and a deep respect for each person’s story, Teah hopes her clients leave therapy feeling more known, more grounded, and better equipped to move forward with courage, clarity, purpose, and hope.
